A middle-class urban family faced continuously rising electricity bills due to heavy use of appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines. To achieve long-term savings and reduce dependency on grid electricity, they decided to adopt solar energy.
SYSTEM DETAILS
A 5 kW on-grid rooftop solar system was installed, consisting of photovoltaic (PV) panels, a grid-tied inverter, mounting structures, and a net meter. The system generates electricity during the day and exports excess power to the grid.
