120 kW – Industrial Rooftop Solar Power Plant (Two 60 kW Arrays)
JSW successfully implemented a 120 kW industrial rooftop solar project in Ennore, Chennai, engineered as two distinct 60 kW arrays to maximize architectural space and efficiency. Aimed at drastically lowering operational energy overheads, the dual-array setup delivers reliable, high-capacity daytime power to support continuous manufacturing and industrial workflows.
The project was executed on a complete turnkey basis, covering advanced layout modeling, structural engineering, procurement, installation, and synchronized commissioning. Both 60 kW arrays were precision-engineered to perfectly balance structural weight distribution across the roof while establishing a unified integration with the facility’s high-voltage electrical grid.
This substantial 120 kW installation delivers accelerated ROI through deep energy cost savings and a major reduction in the facility's carbon footprint. It stands as a resilient example of scaled sustainable infrastructure and long-term industrial energy self-reliance.
